This Mama's Got Rules - My Disclaimer Message

I am just a Mom.  I AM A MOM!  I have z-e-r-o qualifications outside of an under used Massage Therapy Diploma and a very strong opinion about everything.  I am trying this blog thing on for size thanks to a few bits of advice from friends and relatives.  I have no idea where it will take me.  Worst case scenario?  I come up with a system to better document this crazy life-with-kids, Baby Daddy (BD) and I have managed to create. 

1.  If you would have asked me, 10 years ago, I would have said that I care A LOT about what other people think.  Turning 30 changed that for me.  Don't get me wrong. I still bask in the glory of all the 'likes' my bragging statuses get on FB, but with this blog being a public forum, I am fully prepared to laugh at any negative comments I get.  Social media gives everyone a voice, even mean people.  Offensive or rude remarks addressed to other commentators will be deleted.  I intend to stay away from hot topics related to politics, religion and (gasp) vaccines.  For the sake of my sunshine spreading blog, I hope you do too.

2.  Depending on the day, you might read a bad word or two.  SOMETIMES I might swear through the entire write up.  This is my real life, so SOMETIMES Mommy has a potty mouth.  You've been warned.

3.  From the time I was 6 months pregnant with Big C, I discovered something very unsettling.  You will never experience judgement, like you will in the Mommy Community.  I could write for hours about how we need to tone that down, but the reality is, I judge parents all the time too.  I do however, remember what it's like to be a new parent, so the difference between what I think and what I say is incredible.  I'm almost 7 years into this parenting thing, so my skin is nice and thick.  Go ahead and judge me, but follow this leader and keep it to yourself.  Ooor talk about me behind my back.  Please see rule #1 if you have any questions.

4.  Next to mommying my own and co-mommying a few others, green living has become a big-time passion of mine.  Occasionally I'm going to gush about Norwex products or celebrate a big win, and sometimes I might even schpeal about an issue that's bothering me. I promise, this is not a business blog, but you might just be inspired to make a change.

5.  To my real life friends and family: you guys made me.  Thanks to you I am a:  funny, beautiful, (over) dramatic, loud, happy, crazy, emotional, bossy, stubborn, positive, slightly open-minded, passionate, empathetic, judgmental, generous, hard working, food loving, wine drinking, explode laughing Mommy, Baby Mama, Daughter, Grandbaby Mama, Sister, and/or Friend.  I love you, I thank you, and I'm sorry in advance. Bahahaha!
